INTRODUCTION
What if God wanted to say something really special to America...? Would He send a great evangelist or preacher to proclaim His message...? Surely He would go through the ‘official channels,’ of the church, wouldn't He...?
LISTEN BUT NOT HEAR!
Sometimes the church has open ears but does not hear the ‘now word’ of God! Also, given the fact that America’s mainstream media system is not open to promoting His message, sometimes God uses it anyway, even if He has to code what He wants to say.
GOD'S SUPER BOWL
Such was the case on Sunday, January 8th, 2012 in the lead up to the Super Bowl. In the first play of overtime to decide the 23-all draw between the Denver Broncos and the Pittsburgh Steelers, Bronco’s Quarterback, Tim Tebow, famous for wearing a John 3:16 scripture on the black strips under his eyes, threw an 80 yard pass to wide receiver Demaryius Thomas who scored a touchdown that left the Steelers and a watching world simply stunned!

Tebow set an NFL playoff record with, you guessed it: 31.6 yards per completion, and the TV rating on CBS peaked with a rating of 31.6. Also, Tebow threw for a total of exactly 316 yards in the 29-23 upset win! The coach of the Denver Broncos is John Fox and the vice president's name is John Elway.
Also, something else of interest here—when was Demaryius Thomas born? Answer: December 25th! Hmm, that's a familiar birth date, isn't it...?
The odds of all these details being a coincidence are inestimable and literally impossible to humanly orchestrate!
THE WORLD TAKES NOTICE
The next morning, several bastions of liberal reporting such as CNN, the LA Times, the San Francisco Chronicle, and perhaps the most liberal of them all, Time, began reporting on what was already exploding all over the internet with Google reporting over 90 million hits on John 3:16, their biggest ever!
God spoke through a donkey once! Could He not 'shout' through an unwitting NFL to the largest audience in the nation on a Sunday night football game?
'GOD GAVE....'
It's possible to sum up the whole Bible with John 3:16; so, is God releasing a final plea for America to turn around and accept His grace and greatest gift, Jesus, which if refused, will see judgment descend on the nation?
AMERICA FOR JESUS
On September 28th and 29th, 2012 we are calling the nation to join us in Philadelphia, PA for the America for Jesus Prayer Rally. Tens of thousands are expected to gather on the mall in front of Independence Hall to intercede for our future.
The theme is 2 Chronicles 7:14, "If My people will humble themselves and pray...."
The vision for this gathering was always not just to have another event, but to launch forty days of prayer and fasting for the whole nation! Forty days from September 28th takes us to November 6th - Presidential Election Day!
In light of this some have accused this event to be politically motivated. However, the dates were not our choice but were given to us by the City of Philadelphia!
It's not about the elephant or the donkey - It's about the Lion of the Tribe of Judah! God is in this!
OUR RESPONSE
So, at the beginning of 2012, I believe God was saying to us, "This is what I have done for you." In September, He will be watching to see what we will do about it!!!
