As summer once again nears its end and we prepare for the cooler weather of fall, our thoughts tour to all the wonderful things that Autumn brings.  We look forward to the beautiful colors of the Fall leaves and pumpkin and apple picking.

The fall also brings "Back to School" with its notebooks, pencils, paper and backpacks!

On Saturday, August 25th, we will be going into the Lakewood Square to bring the love of Jesus through our "Back to School Lakewood Outreach".  With a team of volunteers, we will be bringing food, clothing and bibles to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with that community. What makes our "Back to School" Outreach so special is what we do for the children.  In the foyer of our church, you will find a box marked "Backpacks and School Supplies" for Lakewood.  Every year the children of Lakewood look forward to our bringing them backpacks filled with school supplies and bibles.
As you do your school shopping this year, please remember these children. Pick up an extra backpack and school supplies.  This is a wonderful way to display the love of Jesus and help spread the gospel to the children.

When you change a child's life, you change a child's future!

Become a volunteer for Lakewood.  We will be in the Lakewood Square on Saturday, August 25th, from 2:00 to 6:00 pm.  We will be collecting backpacks and school supplies in our church foyer now through the Outreach.  We will also be passing out Food Trays to be filled and brought to the Outreach.  Everyone's LITTLE makes a BIG difference!
