From Pastor Maureen Thank you to all the volunteers who laid their lives down in the last 2½ years serving in Angel Food. It was a great experience and we put our trust in God that we served those He sent with cheerful servant hearts. You all demonstrated the love of Jesus during this time and I am extremely proud to have worked with you! Good and well done faithful servants.
We want to let the entire congregation know that April 2011 was the last month that Grace and Peace will be a host site for Angel Food Ministries. Subsequent to this month, it will be necessary to go online to www.angelfoodministries.com in order to place your orders and find out where to pick them up.
The next closest location for Angelfood ordering and pickup is Christ Episcopal Church - CECCC. Information about this location can be found here. |
Thurdays † 9:00-11:00 am Volunteers are needed to drop off pallets and pick up bread for the Food Pantry on Thursdays. For more information or to volunteer, leave a message at 732.349.1550 x214. |

SEASIDE NEEDS YOUR HELP! We are looking for shoppers – we supply the funds, you do the leg work; donation solicitors – motivate the world’s businesses to give to God’s kingdom (call Emma at 732.349.3896); and volunteers to assist in gathering clothing and serving once a month (call Angela at 732.644.3436).
For more information, contact Emma at 732.349.3896.
HELP BLESS THOSE IN NEED We’re looking to help meet the natural and spiritual needs of the less fortunate in Seaside. Donations of winter blankets and fleece throws (place in plastic bags marked Seaside & drop in clothing bins), 2-3 lb. canned hams (drop in aluminum box outside the Food Pantry), and Christian music CDs and Veggie Tales on VHS or DVD (place in sealed bag marked Seaside & drop in clothing bins) would be greatly appreciated. Psalm 41:1-3 assures us that Blessed is he who considers the poor. |
