“For You have been my hope, O Sovereign LORD, my confidence since my youth” (Psalm 71:5). As 2006 winds down and we are in full swing for the holiday season, we at CEYM are reflecting on the wonderful things God has done in 2006. We have had much labor and fruit among the youth, and yet we can’t help but feel we are still laying the foundation and have so much opportunity before us. We are excitedly looking forward to all that is in store for 2007.

We will begin the new year with a big celebration, Cutting Edge Reloaded, on Wednesday, January 3, 2007. We are celebrating our fifth anniversary as “Cutting Edge Youth Ministries.” We are inviting parents to take part, and several youth ministries will also be joining us. The Chris Colletti Band will be our worship band for the event, and we have a lot of fun surprises planned. It is the launch of this ministry going to a whole new level. We are believing that in ’07, we are moving forward in discipleship, creativity, impact, and of course, advancing the JESUS REVOLUTION in Ocean County.

We have some exciting things planned for the year. In February, we are planning an awesome winter retreat. “The Core” discipleship training will be returning. In the summer, we will have our first ever “Junior High Summer Slam” and a Jersey Shore Missions Outreach. Of course, we will be back in New York City again in August. We have many other things in store, as we passionately pursue Jesus and the teens of this region that He loves and died for.
