We are committed to see teens discipled to become world changers for Christ.

Looking back over 2005, we at Cutting Edge Youth Ministries are so thankful for all God has done in the lives of our teens this past year. We have seen God expand the tent pegs of ministry and discipleship to new areas. The Grace and Peace Youth Ministry is committed to introducing teens to Christ and discipling them to become world changers for Him. We are committed to helping them discover their God-given destiny and to run after it with all their hearts. Our dream is to see our state and nation become a better place as whole, mature, wise, passionate, and visionary youth take their place in our society. Our culture needs a Jesus Revolution to restore hope and wholeness to future generations. And we are doing our part to bring Jesus to the nation!

The above mentioned is our dream and goal as we pour into each individual student. To this end, we are excited about all that God has in store for us in this next year. Here is a recap of who we are and what we have available as a ministry…

Cutting Edge Leadership is… a caring staff of over 20 leaders made up of high school, college, and adult leaders under the direction of Pastor Jim & Annette Wehrer. Our heart is to build life-long disciples of Jesus Christ and release them into the destiny that God has for them!

The UnderGround is… a weekly gathering of over 100 junior high, senior high, and college age students. Come out for live worship and a relevant message that speaks to today’s youth. The night includes video, drama, arcade, snack bar, give aways + more! Every Wednesday from 7-9 pm.

Deeper Walk is… bi-weekly home groups around the region. Build relationships and friendships that will change your life. Interactive small group Bible study, prayer, fellowship + more!

TruthQuest is… a weekly discipleship class for 7th and 8th grade junior high students. Learn what you believe as a Christian and why you believe it. It establishes basic discipleship principles, as well. The class is divided into teams and twice a year, the winning team has the opportunity to go on a free trip. Individuals can win prizes, as well!

The Core is… a six-week discipleship class for senior high and college students offered bi-annually. This course lays the foundation for a life-long commitment to Jesus Christ. Each student receives a leather-bound “Cutting Edge” Student Bible upon completion of the course.

Cutting Edge Missions is… local and global missions trips, including Brazil and New York City, where students gain a heart for missions and minister in street meetings, drama, children’s ministry, mercy ministry + more.

Cutting Edge United is… the various rallies, conferences, retreats, and gatherings that take place during the year where we join other youth from around the region and country for life-changing events. This includes Joshua Revolution in Rochester, NY, See You At The Pole Rally, and our annual Revolution Conference hosted right here at Grace and Peace.

Cutting Edge Fellowship is… the various activities we host throughout the year, including ski trips, camping, ice skating, Blackbeard’s Cave, All-Nighters, Turkey Football, Great Adventure, and so much more!
