Jenny Jack – Divine Servant for the month of February
We bring servants before the congregation twelve times a year to demonstrate how blessed the church is with the service that has been afforded us through their efforts.
Today we present to you, Jenny Jack, a long term member of The Church of Grace and Peace. Jenny has been a faithful servant for many years…she is actually one of our attorneys, bringing Godly legal wisdom whenever it is needed. In addition, she has been busy with the Cutting Edge Youth Ministry – being on the youth leader team and blessing our young people.
When I think of Jenny I think of someone who has put her trust in the Lord in order to find her way…and as a result, He has blessed her with the desires of her heart.
Jenny has been involved in mission trips and has been to Panama twice as part of our short terms missions team. Last year when she returned, she desired to spend her life ministering to the people in Panama and she started asking the Lord to open a door for her to move there and to spend time with Dan and Jess Cotton (our missionaries in Panama). Commit your works to the LORD, and your thoughts will be established (Prov. 16:3).
Well, in the beginning of February, our precious Jenny will be moving to Panama to fulfill her heart’s desire. We rejoice with her because she is delighted to be going, but we will miss her here as a member of our Body. We wanted to be sure to honor her with the Divine Servant Award before she changes countries and, therefore, we’re presenting February’s award in the end of January.
