Ralph Freda joined the staff of The Church of Grace and Peace in 1987 and was one of the founding trustees of the church. He is currently the Senior Associate Pastor and a pastoral Elder. Ralph oversees all Christian Education here at The Church of Graced and Peace which includes discipleship, formal education and periodic informal education. As a Pastoral Overseer he helps coordinates pastoral care, church membership, water baptism, and baby/child dedications.
Ralph was saved in June 1979. Prior to becoming a pastor he taught guitar and 5-string banjo. He was also a production coordinator at a military manufacturing plant. In 2009 he received his Doctorate Diploma in Practical Ministry from the Wagner Leadership Institute. Presently Ralph also serves as Dean of the Wagner Leadership Institute-Toms River.
Ralph and his wife, Rosemary, have one son John. To Ralph, his greatest experiences with God are being able to hear His voice and to know His mercies are new every morning.
Chris R. Healy is a respected senior executive in the information technology industry with 21 years of diverse experience. He has been a key employee in several high technology startups and is currently Senior Vice President of Planet Associates where he is responsible for strategic planning, engineering, marketing, sales, consulting, staffing, customer relations, technology and P/L. He has also worked for the Department of Defense in addition to several Fortune 500 companies and small businesses. In 1998, he founded and has operated a consultancy which facilitates pragmatic use of technology at nonprofits.
Chris has been a member of the Church of Grace and Peace since its inception in 1986. He has served in many capacities over the years including children's church, finance committee, deacon, Trustee advisor and Trustee. With clear dedication to the church's well-being and an earned business reputation for cogent strategy articulation to executives and myriad stakeholders, Mr. Healy was called upon to serve as Chairman of the Trustee Board for the Church of Grace and Peace. He has been privileged to serve in this capacity since 2008.
Chris majored in accounting and holds a degree in Business Studies from Richard Stockton State College of New Jersey. He is a lifelong resident of Toms River, NJ and enjoys his own family of six along with another 30 plus relatives in the immediate area.
Maureen Healy is a wife, mother, grandmother and pastor. She is mother of seven children and grandmother of sixteen.
She was born again and baptized in the Holy Spirit in 1973. Since then she has been involved in all types of ministry including prayer meetings, Women’s Aglow, tape lending library, and retreats. Maureen co-founded The Church of Grace and Peace with her husband, Walter in 1985. She also serves as the corporate Vice President and is a member of the Trustee Board. She travels with her husband in connection with International Coalition of Apostles and FaithNet USA.
Maureen is the Ministry Overseer for several Grace and Peace Ministries including Women’s Ministry, Altar Prayer Team, Single Moms, Emergency Prayer Team, and Deliverance Ministry just to name a few. In prayer Maureen has been able to hear from heaven successfully to attain freedom from spiritual bondage for those who are oppressed.
Apostle Walter Healy is the Founding Pastor and Senior Leader of The Church of Grace and Peace. Prior to founding Grace and Peace, he was a school teacher. He has a B.A. from Keane University, is a Certified Career Counselor (Rutgers University) and attended American Christian College and Seminary. He founded the church in 1985. He also founded the Grace and Peace Institute of Biblical Studies (IBS).
In 2006, Pastor Walt became Chancellor of Wagner Leadership Institute – Toms River. Currently he is serving on the boards of the Christian Action Coalition and International Christian Wealth Builders Foundation. In September 2007, Pastor Walt founded FaithNet USA, an apostolic network of ministers, ministries and churches. He also serves on the boards of The Church of Grace and Peace, Community Compass, Faith Alliance, Firepower Ministries International, End-Time Ministries, The Hope Center, Melva Lea Ministries, and Pray NJ. He serves as the New Jersey Coordinator for the International Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem, NJ Director of Christians United for Israel, Clergy Advisor to the NJ Family Policy Council and Trustee of the Toms River Workforce Housing Community Land Trust.
Pastor Walt’s ministry passion is to present every man mature in Christ. His greatest experience with God has been experiencing the tangible presence of God during corporate worship. For Pastor Walt, there is no place better than home. Reading is one of his hobbies. He and his most excellent wife, Maureen, have seven children and 16 grandchildren.
Patti Magan is responsible for Client Service for large corporate clients. She comes to us with 12 years of experience in account management. Her experience includes disability, workers’ compensation, auto, general and product liability. Prior to joining Sedgwick in 2004, Patti worked as an Account Manager for a pharmacy benefits manager, and a group health carrier.
Her strengths include identifying client needs and meeting those needs, building and developing long term business relationships and the ability to coordinate a team and keep it motivated. Her sincere passion for meeting client needs and helping them reach their goals is exemplified by her winning Sedgwick’s “2010 Program Manager of the Year” award.
Frank Pell is married to Patti and together they have seven children and 19 grandchildren, with number 20 on the way. Frank has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and over 25 years experience in the banking industry working in information technology and office support environments. While employed by Sovereign Bank, he was honored by peers and managers, receiving nine “Red Carpet Champion” awards for service and the “Sovereign Pride Award” for “…demonstrating Red Carpet Service and exemplifying an outstanding combination of qualities including responsibility, integrity, dependability and work excellence.”
Frank currently serves as a member of the Board of Trustees, Corporate Secretary, and Assistant Head Usher. He also serves on the Technology Team, generating multiple reports for the Executive Team.
Lou Scheidt
has served as Innovative’s President and Chief Executive Officer since founding the firm in 1977 and is responsible for the direction and management of the firm’s overall operations. Mr. Scheidt has over 35 years of engineering, planning, construction and management experience in the civil and telecommunications engineering industries. Mr. Scheidt’s ability to motivate others and strong leadership skills has enabled the firm to develop and continuously expand since inception. Mr. Scheidt’s high personal integrity and commitment to produce results are the cornerstones of the firm’s business philosophy and are the principles that he instills into the firm’s staff. Mr. Scheidt plays an active role during the execution of the firm’s engineering and planning projects, development of proposals and client relations. He is a leader on the energy and renewables team which encompasses IEI’s solar, wind, power, utility and alternative energy projects.
In addition to his professional experience, Mr. Scheidt has been actively involved in the management, fund-raising and expansion of numerous community service organizations throughout New Jersey including the Monmouth/Ocean Food Bank, Toms River Kiwanis Club, Homes For All, Literacy Volunteers of Ocean County, Will Graham Celebrations, Community Compass, Safe Harbor, Grace and Peace Church, Grace Initiatives and the International Christian Wealth Builders Foundation.
Janie Turner Janie Turner has been a born-again believer since 1979. She has served in former churches in the choir and as president of the ushers board for 23 yrs. Janie’s life is best described as a life of service which comes from her love for her Savior. In her youth, Janie participated in the 1960s Civil Rights March alongside of Dr. Martian Luther King. In her earlier years she studied at Alabama A & M College and is now retired from 37 yrs employment with the New Jersey Natural Gas Company, holding various positions including accounts collection. She has attended the Church of Grace and Peace since 2003, where she is a member and has served in outreach ministry to the indigent and in children’s ministry, a passion of her life. She has been a Trustee of the church since 2009. Janie is an avid gardener and lives with her adult son in Toms River, NJ
