MISSION STATEMENT: To see every man be set free and delivered from every oppression and calamity so that they may "be complete and proficient, well-fitted and thoroughly equipped for every good work"; recognizing that we are planned for God's pleasure, formed for God's family, created to be like Christ, shaped for serving God and made for a mission. (Luke 4:18b; II Timothy 3:17)
VISION STATEMENT: It is the desire of this department to bring about the transformation of the mind through the nouthetic/confrontational application of the Word; having it penetrate and become the reality of each one in the Body of Christ. We place our confidence in the belief that "Every Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for instruction, for reproof and conviction of sin, for correction of error and discipline in obedience, and for training in righteousness in holy living, in conformity to God's will in thought, purpose, and action". (II Tim. 3:16)
The department of Biblical counsel is non-psychological and the Ministers of Reconciliation who serve are not professional counselors. This department and the individuals who serve you have the primary goal of bringing about reconciliation between you and God and you and your fellowman. Each of us are committed to seeing the promises of God fulfilled in your life.
The department of Biblical counsel cannot change those around you, but will come alongside of you as you pursue your wholeness in Him through the transformation of your mind.
