Our church has always been very active in nursing home and hospital visitation. We have not only been active in visiting our members and faithful attenders, but to those who visit Grace and Peace occasionally, and to those who have asked us to visit their friends and extended family, as well.

Our Hospital Ministry consists not only of our Pastoral staff who pray and visit with those in the hospital, but many hospital visitation servants who bring the comfort of God to those in need of His touch. Rev. Cherryl Baker was just recently granted a license of ministry from Grace and Peace. She has been doing a great job working with our volunteers in the Hospital Ministry, doing training and coordinating visitation appointments. Many people have been served and ministered to by these servants from Grace and Peace. In the very near future, Sister Cherryl will be conducting another training session for the new hospital visitation volunteers who signed up at our recent Ministry Fair. We always welcome volunteers who bring faith and the encouragement of the Scriptures to join our hospital visitation ministry.

Our Home Visitation Ministry is young and growing. We have seen steady progress in the development of this new ministry at our church. Peggy Wehrer has been doing the coordination of appointments and the behind-the-scene administration of this ministry. She is doing a marvelous job seeing that this new ministry has order and succeeds. We have set up home visitation teams from our membership to help meet the need for the home visitation requests we receive. Sometimes we are contacted by shut-ins, and other times by people who would welcome a home visit for prayer and to learn more about our church. Our visitation teams are also able to bring information concerning our ‘Time 2 Build’ stewardship campaign for those who want to know more about our plans to erect the Ministry Center. It is always wonderful to have more people grasp hold of the vision and join in the financial support to see this ministry tool completed. A congregational home visitation ministry has always been a desire of our pastors, and we are excited to see it developing and expanding during the upcoming months. We are in need of more members from Grace and Peace to join us in home visitation. If this ministry strikes a chord in your heart, we welcome your call!
