In The Spotlight
The servant of the month at The Church of Grace and Peace is always a great time to acknowledge the works and contributions of individuals. These are works and service to the Body of Christ that not only bless us but the character of these fine servants truly inspire us all to go to a higher level of personal service in the Kingdom of God.Our servant for the month of April is Reese Blackwell.
Sister Reese is another one of those fine saints behind the scenes that might not personally be known to all, but the blessings we all experience through her service is far reaching.Reese very unselfishly serves and brings support to the church. She helps at our Sanctuary info desk and has run our GAP Café for some years. In the past she was involved in the Angel Food distribution.I have personally always found that Reese is someone you can count on.Things are done with excellence and with competence. You know if Reese is organizing something, there are no worries and no cause for concern. The job gets done!
All who know Sister Reese realize that her service in Christ is done with love.Hospitality is the real ministry she brings to us.Her hospitality is shown as she serves in a positive and cheerful manner.
Everything she puts her hand to is done with such a cheerfulness that causes folks to just smile when they are in her presence. The warmth she shares in all that she does, conveys the love of Christ and brings a joy to all whom she blesses. We are honored to have such a fine sister in Christ in our midst and to honor her as our servant of the month!
