In The Spotlight

This month, I have the privilege of presenting John Macchiaverna to you as our servant of the month. For over ten years, John has been faithfully serving as a teacher – first in Super Church and now, for the past three years, in Kingdom Kids. John has both the honor and the awesome responsibility of planting the Word of God into the soil of those tender hearts, pointing them in the right direction as they navigate the “road to Life.” John also shares Bible stories with them and prays with them as he hears their prayer requests. John and his wife, Mary, are the parents of nine children, further evidence of their love of children and high regard for family.

In the fourth chapter of Mark, Jesus instructs His disciples not to hinder the little children from coming to Him, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.” Thank you, John, for your obedience to His call and for teaching our little ones the way to go so, when they are old, they will not depart from it (Prov. 22:6). We appreciate you, John!
