In The Spotlight
It has been a real joy for me personally getting to know Ira Grodberg over the last year and a half. Ira is a soft-spoken man with a passionate, warm disposition and approach to everything in his life. He takes what he does very seriously, but never takes himself too seriously. Ira is totally aware that God is continually speaking and moving in the earth today, and he is sure to lend an ear to what God has to say.
Ira has a “Let’s get God’s plan on this, and then let’s get it done,” kind of attitude; which not only blesses me, but enables him to act as a true servant for all those he has committed to the Lord wholeheartedly to serve. Ira consistently endeavors to unify people and bring all parts into focus for the greater good of ministry.
Ira is never without a story, or a burning thought on his heart from the Lord. I’ve learned to value his spiritual sensitivity and listen intently as the Lord speaks through him.
What’s desired in a man is kindness, according to Proverbs 19:22, and Ira has shown the embodiment of kindness. In accordance with Proverbs 28:20, “A faithful man will abound with blessings.” Because of his faithfulness, I believe Ira will see an overflow of the blessing of God in his life to last for generations. Ira has defined the word “faithful” as he has served as video editor, multimedia producer, camera operator, and videographer for just about every event at Grace and Peace. He is actively involved in serving Isaiah 40 Ministries, Man Up, Lakewood Outreach, and he is a member of Christians United for Israel. Ira does a great job making our video announcements come to life on a weekly basis as well. It’s a great honor to recognize him as servant of the month.
