In The Spotlight

acollettiFor a number of years we have introduced people monthly, who have sown their heart into the kingdom of God as well as in the life of the people at Grace and Peace. This month I have the honor of introducing Alyssa Colletti to you, our August servant of the month.

I have had the privilege over the past several years of having Alyssa work with me in Life in the Vine Discipleship Ministry. I can tell you (as well as all those who have met her) that everything from her bubbly caring personality, to her genuine love for people, to her knowledge of the Word have been a blessing, not just to this ministry, but to the many whose lives have been touched by her. Many times Alyssa, recognizing a need would go beyond her borders of responsibility and set her hand to the task before her, completing it with competent skill and excellence. She designed the Life in the Vine logo; created little grape costumes for a few precious children who took part in the Grace and Peace Parade of Ministries; attended meetings on behalf of the Discipleship Department; taught Discipleship Classes;  made numerous phone calls to new believers explaining to them the importance of foundation classes and then getting them assigned to a class.

Alyssa has a deep love and respect for Israel and the Jewish people. She is an integral part of Isaiah 40 Ministry where her creativity is evident. She has done numerous prayer walks in Lakewood, Washington, DC and Israel. Alyssa has also been a tremendous asset to the “Night to Honor Israel” gathering.

The list continues with stationing herself at the podium on Sundays to say goodbye to the new attendees as they exit our building. She has also been a bus captain for the “Christians United for Israel” trip to Washington, DC.

Alyssa, thank you for all you do. Surely your diligent labor of love and work of faith has lightened the load of many, as well as touched many hearts.

Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does it’s share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.  Eph. 4:16

Your family at Grace and Peace, love and appreciate you.
